When snowboarding, I suggest that you rent the day before your lesson, mid-day or at night if possible as
the staff will be the least busy and most able to spend time with you. From about
8:30am to 10am and from 3:30pm to 5:00pm is when the shops will be the most full.

For beginners, the board is not all that important. The rental staff will give you up to
date boards of lengths appropriate to weights and that is about all there is to it.
Having a boot that fits snugly with one pair of socks however is very important.
