In Summit County, your shortest drive to Vail
would be from Silverthorne and Dillon.
Leadville is probably not all that much further on good roads but
I do not know what
it might be like going over Tennessee or Fremont Pass during the
winter.
I live in Breckenridge and my drive time to Vail is about 45 to
50 minutes.
Keystone would be slightly further. And, perhaps more
importantly, there is no real
town in Keystone and very few people live there year round.
The rest of the towns in Park County are well over an hour away
from Vail, even on good roads.
